IACET Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry (PNG) Continuing Education and Training Standards (CET) Symposium

The symposium will focus on providing PNG CET organizations with new vision and practical guidance on how to raise the bar on training standards for one of the world’s largest and most dangerous industries. In addition, IACET will be honoring PNG providers who have exceptional training programs with the IACET PNG Exemplar Training Organization Awards at our first annual IACET PNG Awards Luncheon. The forms to nominate your organization for an Exemplar Award for best training program can be found here or nominate your organization for this year's new award for Innovative Continuing Education and Training Program Award. We are asking for your support to help produce this important, industry-advancing program. The E3 System Administrator Training provides EWN account holders with an opportunity to explore key tools, features, and components of the E3 system through a hands-on survey. OQ plan administrators will gain the knowledge to effectively oversee their OQ training program and fully utilize the E3 system and services.At the end of this course, the learner will be able to: Identify the options to manage a user profile Identify the steps involved in utilizing operator connections Identify the steps involved in managing a task list Identify the location to manage assignments Identify the steps to submit evaluations Identify types of reports available Identify the tools available to the E3 user Identify the steps to access qualification requirements Identify the steps involved to organize tasks by groups and/or job titles Note that successful completion of this course requires fully participating in all activities throughout the instructional day, plus successfully completing all related assessments with an average of at least 80%. The EWN Master Evaluator Certificate Program is designed to provide each evaluator with the most up-to-date principles and tools for conducting effective evaluations. Each class participant will have the opportunity to apply and practice these research-based principles and tools in a comfortable learning environment. The Instructional Design and Development Program is designed to teach course developers in the energy industry how to write effective learning objectives, develop relevant content, and design effective test questions on a cognitive level to validate the achievement of intended knowledge transfer. IDDP will assist course developers in defining, identifying, and utilizing key components of the instructional design process while identifying necessary elements of effective computer-based-training courses and how to utilize the E3 Training Builder tools to assist in building custom courses to meet their company’s needs.
