Coleman joined EWN, the family business, in June 2005. He started his journey at EWN as an Operations Manager and moved to the Vice President of Operations in 2008. After a stint in the Education division, in which he was responsible for research, instructional design, and the creation of Operator Qualification and OSHA Safety courses and evaluations, Coleman moved on to the Marketing department. Coleman now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of EWN. He received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas State University and his Executive Education Certificate in Intellectual Property and Business Strategy from Harvard University.

Mr. Sterling enjoys the outdoors, auto mechanics, and has a love for the game of golf. He also enjoys spending time with his family at his home in Abilene, Texas. Coleman is now running the family business that his parents once did – something he does not take lightly. When asked what he loves most about EWN, Coleman said, “I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the best and brightest individuals in the world.”
Since joining EWN in 2006, Geoff has worked alongside staff members, clients, and industry professionals in all aspects of education, technology, sales, customer service, and compliance management. He is a contributing member of the ASME B31Q Committee, the API OQ Working Group, and the DCA OQ Portability Task Force. He is also actively involved in various state and national industry associations. One of Geoff’s greatest joys as President of EWN is the opportunity it affords him to work with so many creative, innovative, and caring people.

Geoff holds a degree in accounting from Vernon College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement. He began his career in the financial services industry working in regulatory compliance. After ten years with the FDIC, he joined EDS and began managing technology solutions, business process outsourcing, and compliance requirements for the financial and energy industries. During his time with the FDIC and EDS, Geoff was also actively involved in the development and delivery of strategic corporate training initiatives. Geoff is a firearms enthusiast and NRA instructor, a certified armorer, and enjoys shooting sports, fishing, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. Geoff is also a traditionally trained Artisan Blacksmith and ran his own architectural ironworks business before joining EWN. Geoff is married to his high school sweetheart, Suzy, and they have four children.

Steve says without hesitation that his favorite things about working at EWN are, “the enthusiasm of the staff and the vision leadership has for the future. It’s very exciting. To quote an old song, ‘The future’s so bright, I’ve got to wear shades!’”
Samantha joined the EWN Human Resources team in 2015. She holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Human Resources. She keeps everyone in line here at EWN and has been a true asset to EWN Corporate Services. Although a Decatur, TX resident of over 20 years, she was born and raised in Houston, TX.

Samantha has three children, one cat, and a dog. When she isn’t studying, she loves to read for leisure. For Samantha, the best part of working at EWN is the people and the company culture. When asked what she likes most about EWN, Samantha said, “The people make me look forward to coming to work each day.”
Liz originally came to EWN as a Technical Writer before transitioning back into Human Resources where her roots are. With over 25 years of Human Resources experience, she knows how to work with people to improve training and company systems. It is her passion. Even though she is a born and raised Texan, she is the first of her family to be involved in the oil and gas industry. She enjoys living in small-town Decatur, TX, and says, “I’m a true-blue Texan…I love to travel, but I love coming home to Texas even more. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.”

Liz is married and has a son whom she adores. She loves Jesus, loves to travel, and spends most of her time with family and friends. She enjoys RV-ing, especially if a beach is involved. She’s a certified scuba diver, likes 4-wheeling with her family, and fancies scrapbooking. Liz enjoys the moral values that EWN lives by and the positive atmosphere that EWN has created for its team.
Kim joined the EWN family as its Director of Accounting. With years of accounting experience, she brings her expertise to an already- exceptional team. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and over five years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently living just up the road in Alvord, TX, Kim has toured the DFW area throughout her life. She is the first of her family to venture into the compliance and safety field.

“I love time with my two grandchildren, boating, jet skiing, traveling, crossword puzzles, and anything outdoors,” said Kim. Kim is married with two daughters, two stepdaughters, and one stepson. She also has two dogs and one cat. When asked what her favorite thing was about working at EWN, she remarked, “The atmosphere. Everyone is positive, works as a team, and overall the company represents unity.”
Amber Wood originally came to EWN to work in its Client Relations division. She is now a part of the Accounting Department. She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and has lived in Decatur off-and-on since she was two weeks old.

Amber and her husband are blessed with three children, one grandson, Grayson, and one granddaughter, Addyson. Amber loves to play golf, hunt, target shoot, and is an avid reader. When asked about her favorite part of working at EWN she said, “Being part of a small-town company with a global reach.”
Holly joined our Accounting team as a Billing Specialist. Holly lives close to the EWN headquarters in Decatur, is originally from Iowa, and has lived in multiple midwestern states. Holly has owned her own business, almost has her accounting degree (six credit hours away), and has also been a substitute teacher.

When Holly isn’t counting money at EWN, she stays busy with her nine children (which is a new EWN record!) and two granddaughters. She loves photography, repurposing old furniture, gardening, and shooting sports – really anything she can do with her family is just fine with her. Holly said, “The people, hands down, are what make EWN so special. I work with the most intelligent and knowledgeable group I have ever been blessed to work with. They are upbeat and always challenging each other to be better.”

Jim joined the EWN team in 2018 as Executive Director. After growing up in Chicago and living in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for 20-plus years, Jim found his way to Texas where he now resides in Katy, Texas (outside of Houston). Jim has over 20 years’ experience in the natural gas industry.

If you know Jim, he is an avid walker (and green tea drinker). On a good month, he will walk 100-140 miles. “I find it beneficial, both mentally as well as physically,” said Schauer, “I completed two half- marathons in 2018 at an average pace of 15 minutes per mile.” A father of three and grandfather of two (another on the way soon) who also two dogs (Remington and Minnie), Jim enjoys his family time more than anything. When asked what makes EWN so special Jim said, “The people, absolutely. They are the greatest assets we have here at EWN.”
Chris joined EWN in 2014 and is currently the Manager of Solution Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and Master of Business Administration Degree, both from Oklahoma State University. He also has over eight years’ experience in compliance and safety solutions.

Originally from Tulsa, OK, Chris now lives in Dallas, TX, but has also lived in Italy for a summer during college. He is no stranger to the industry as his dad has worked in pipeline products for over 20 years. Chris enjoys restoring classic cars, has restored a couple of Ford Broncos and Chevy Impalas, and is currently working on a 1974 Bronco. He has a passion for helping friends and co-workers reach their highest potential and can see the potential in any opportunity. He also wakeboards and serves as a snowboard instructor in Colorado, claimed as his second home.

Chris’s favorite thing about EWN is the ability working here allows him to truly make a difference with our customers.
An EWN team member since 2014, Christel started out splitting time between Corporate Services and Professional Services, then later supervised Client Relations, spent time in Compliance Management Services, and now plays a big part in our Client Business Strategy Team. Christel used to be a nonprofit liaison in Africa and the Middle East where she spent time coordinating grants to support people in restricted nations. She later moved to this area and was the director of a local library. She started out an Okie (she is part Indian), but now resides in Norwich, CT. Her family has had various involvement in both oil, gas, and mining (sales, safety and offshore drilling), so she knows a thing or two about our industry.

Christel says she is super boring, but with 8 kids, her life begs to differ. She loves to collect super kitsch and ridiculous things and is ALWAYS the “all-time quarterback” in backyard football games. “I love our clients, we have the best clients out there,” says Christel. She also loves that EWN allows its employees to keep a good home-work balance. “It makes EWN an awesome place to work.”
Greg joined the EWN team as a Client Business Strategist in 2018. He attended Murray State University on an academic scholarship and achieved an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Greg has been an entrepreneur since age 21 (he opened and operated his business for over 20 years) and has worked in the technology field, sales, and marketing along the way. Greg has been in the OQ and Compliance industry for a while now (likely influenced by his dad being a pipeliner when he was a kid).

Greg is married and has two children and three dogs. He is active in his church, where he teaches Sunday School and in several other local community groups. An avid hunter, he loves to shoot, and you can also find him on the water either wakeboarding or slalom skiing. When he isn’t enjoying the outdoors, he will have his head in a book about self-improvement, sales, or marketing. When asked what sets EWN apart, Greg said, “The people. Everyone is so helpful, and it is like a big family. This company aligns with both my values and my vision of business and innovation.”
Kevin was born and raised in Houston, TX, although he did live and work in Providence, RI for a few years. He studied accounting at the University of Houston and spent fifteen years in the financial services industry before moving to the oil and gas industry over five years ago. Being a sixth generation Texan, his family has a long history of involvement in the oil and gas industry.

Kevin is involved in several charitable organizations. He has worked closely with multiple health- and education-related organizations, and is heavily involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, working to raise money for the youth of Texas. He is the self-proclaimed “world’s best uncle” to two amazing nieces and an amazing nephew. When asked what he likes best about EWN, Kevin quickly answers, “The people! The welcoming nature of everyone and the sense of purpose and drive to achieve common goals in helping clients has been outstanding.”
Adam joined EWN in 2018 as a Customer Solutions Manager. He has over 13 years' experience in the wholesale gas marketing industry with the last three years in the business development. His father spent his entire career in the energy business, and he and his younger brother have both followed in their dad’s footsteps.

Adam grew up in Indianapolis, IN, has lived his entire life in the state of Indiana, and currently lives in Franklin, 30 miles south of Indianapolis. He enjoys running, biking, reading, and being with his kids. Adding to his tried and true Indiana roots, Adam is a sports fan and follows the Purdue Boilermakers, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers.

Adams says he is thankful, both for the culture and for the family environment, here at EWN. He appreciates the approach the company adopts as it listens to the customers’ requests and provides them with a new solution as opposed to an existing solution that might not fit their company’s unique needs.

Hunter began as a consultant for EWN in 2018 and came on full-time as Director of Sales Operations later that year. He grew up in Virginia but has lived in the “City of Oaks” Raleigh, NC for 20 years. He has a B.S. degree from James Madison University and spent 19 years with IBM in various roles focusing on Business Partners, Sales, Operations, and Transformation.

Hunter is married with two children. His family has been involved in oil & gas safety for over 20 years. Being from southeast Virginia, he developed the love of the water at a young age. His primary focus now on the water is surfing and fishing.

The #bebetter motto is real and owned by everyone.”

In 2016, she transitioned to a Senior Client Success Manager where she is more hands-on with our clients. She is the first in her family involved in the Oil & Gas industry or Safety & Compliance. A resident of Decatur, Roxann has lived here her whole life.

Roxann has two “dog children” that she loves very much. In her spare time, you can find Roxann at a Rangers game, with friends at a concert, or watching football (she LOVES TCU & the Dallas Cowboys). Roxann loves how at EWN everyone does something different, yet it all ties back together.
Chris joined the EWN team in 2017 as a part of the Senior Client Success Manager team. With over 20 years in Technology Account Management (and occasional pizza delivery), Chris brings a knack for detail and understanding when it comes to clients. Living in North Texas, he has spent his entire life in Texas.

A self-professed history & baseball “nut,” he can read, watch & talk for hours on either topic given the opportunity. An avid reader, his library is full of historical biographies, classic literature and historical fiction. Chris dabbles in playing the trumpet, gardening, grilling, cooking and even woodworking. He spends his time with his wife and 4 dogs (all rescues). Chris said, “Everyone at EWN is hyper-focused on being the best at taking care of our clients.” Chris has already figured out the culture at EWN and is actively involved.
Russell joined EWN as a Senior Client Success Manager in 2018. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and has a math teaching certification. Russell followed in his dad’s footsteps, who worked in the oil and gas industry for the past 30 years.

Russell and his wife have 2 dogs – a miniature schnauzer named Ellie, and a Weimaraner named Willow. He enjoys playing a round of golf (ask him about being in the 1%) and LOVES to cook for as many people as he can get together. When asked what his favorite thing about EWN, he said, “The people, for sure. The integrity and confidence of everyone in the building is very refreshing”.

Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and attending her son’s baseball games & activities. She lives in Fort Worth with her three-month-old blue heeler, Tex. When she isn’t working out, she can likely be found reading a book or binge-watching Netflix.

Chelsea’s family lives in Springtown, Texas, where they own and operate their own plumbing company. Instead of joining the family business, Chelsea opted to be the first of her family to jump into the oil and gas industry. Chelsea says she is very excited to be working at EWN and to have the ability to contribute to big ideas and learn as much as possible.

Karen Howard has been with EWN since 2014 and has taken over as Compliance Manager. She keeps everyone in line here at EWN (not just Compliance), likely due to her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Karen also is working on her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, emphasizing on Leadership management. Karen lives near the office and has been in this area most of her life. An avid NASCAR fan, Karen even lived in Bristol TN/VA for a brief stint.

Spending time with her husband traveling, watching football (“Go Packers”) and baseball (“Go Oakland A’s”), and traveling home to California are just some of her favorite things. She also has three fur babies, Duke (a pit bull), Charlee & Silas (cats). Taylor loves working at EWN and being a part of the CMS team. The entire CMS team loves to laugh and have fun – she is no different.
Mr. McKee joined the EWN team in 2017 and brings a plethora of knowledge with him. He has background in welding and fabrication, boiler industry, production (Oil & Gas), DOT and even worked on a pipeline in Wyoming for some time. Claude has been all over but spent 9 years in Wyoming (he misses the Big Horn Mountains dearly) before moving to Decatur, TX. His family has been involved in several ways with various parts of the industry – so with his background, it is a perfect fit.

Claude loves to hunt and fish -- spending times outdoors any way he can. He and his wife (and two children) basically have a small zoo, 3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 lizards (for now). What makes EWN special? “The people here are super talented and love to help everyone succeed – which is refreshing.”

If you need a report or a new table built, Ryan is the man. Ryan has over 15 years of experience in IT– 8 of it in the medical industry and the last 4 years have been in this industry. Somewhat of a rolling stone, Ryan is currently located in Savannah, TX but has lived all over Arizona, Florida & Texas.

He is the first person in his family to venture into Compliance and Safety.

An avid hiker, camper & fisherman, TJ also enjoys reading and airbrushing models & miniatures. Andrew joined our Technology team in 2017 as a Senior Software Developer. With a Bachelor’s of Computer Science degree from Texas A&M University, he is a seasoned developer that keeps our software on the cutting edge of the industry. Other than a cousin who “fixes oil wells in Oklahoma,” he is the first of his family with exposure to the Oil & Gas industry.

Andrew loves to dabble in various hobbies including fencing, bouldering, dancing, video games and reading. Andrew and his wife had their first child, Isaac, on October 2 of 2018. “The people I work with are the best part of working at EWN.” We couldn’t agree more Andrew.

Over the years, Tyler has traveled to over 20 countries (he even backpacked Europe) and has a mild addiction to video games and football (but not football video games). When asked his favorite thing about EWN, Tyler said, “Having a family-type atmosphere. It’s like working at Cheers, minus the booze.”
Julie became a part of the EWN team in 2017 as a Business Analyst on the Technology team. She has a BAAS from Midwestern State University (Summa Cum Laude), Associate’s in Legal Assisting and is a Certified Direct Marketer, Toastmaster: Advanced Communicator (Silver) and Competent Leader (Bronze). Julie knows her stuff! She has lived in Texas her whole life and currently lives in Sunset, TX – just up the road from the EWN Headquarters.

Julie is married and has 3 children and 13 grandchildren. Julie is a volunteer at the Bowie Animal Shelter and absolutely loves animals. Proof? She has 16 dogs, 7 cats, 17 chickens, 2 rabbits, 3 horses and she has befriended a baby roadrunner, numerous wild animals, a young opossum and a pesky raccoon family. When we asked Julie what makes EWN so great, she said, “The people. Everyone is happily busy; you can feel it when you walk in the door.”
Hemang has been on staff with EWN for close to two years as a SQL Software Developer. Although Hemang’s parents immigrated from North India to the US in the 1960’s, he has been in the US all his life and currently resides in Dallas, TX.

Hemang is a House DJ since 1999 and he used to DJ in clubs and lounges – so you might have danced somewhere he was spinning. He enjoys the “family” atmosphere at EWN and said, “It doesn’t feel like a corporation, everyone is so sincere.”
Ron joined the EWN team in 2018 as an SQL developer. Ron has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and spent 5 years as a middle school and high school band instructor. He is also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Data Management and Analytics. He is from Rockwall, TX, and currently resides in Frisco, TX.

Ron is the first in his family to work in the oil and gas industry. He spends his time playing board games and staying active physically. Joining EWN was an easy move for him as he had worked with several current employees previously.

Through the good and bad, Tina is a diehard Buffalo Bills fan. She enjoys cooking – searching out new recipes online and through cooking shows. Tina’s husband, Mark, also works in technology as a SQL Database Administrator. Together, they enjoy finding new B&Bs to visit and spending time with their six cats.

Tina is excited about working at EWN because of the people on our team. Although she has never worked in the oil and gas industry, her experience in technology certainly brings new ideas and perspective to the table.

With a master’s degree in mathematics, she can solve any problem quickly and efficiently – and all with a smile on her face. Living in Nashville, TN currently, she was born in Florida, grew up in Maine, spent time in South Korea, plus a time living in Austin, TX – she is well traveled. Victoria is the first of her family to have any involvement in the oil and gas or safety and compliance industries.

Ms. Lang loves Dinosaurs (RAWR!), loves to read, and loves hip-hop music. She lives with her dog, Leon, a hyperactive black lab mix, and adores her apartment complex pigeons (which technically we can’t count as pets). When asked what her favorite thing about EWN is, Victoria said, “The wonderful people on my team. They are funny, personable, competent and intelligent. I feel at home.”
Veronica joined EWN in 2018 as a Software Quality Assurance Tester. She is the first in her family to work in the oil and gas industry, but she grew up in Decatur. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems. Further, Veronica has 16+ years of experience in IT and the insurance services industry. Her background also includes marketing, IT support, software development, and quality assurance.

Veronica is married with two daughters and one son. She says one word that can describe her family life best is soccer! She spends most every weekend going from one soccer game to the next, and her kids are involved year-round in leagues, tournaments, and indoor events. She also loves to travel and has made trips to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France. Israel tops off her bucket list of future travel destinations. Veronica says, “Everyone at EWN is so friendly and approachable. They make you feel right at home. I am excited, and I feel very blessed to be a part of such an amazing company.”
Vijee joined the EWN IT team in 2019. Originally from India, Vijee has an MS degree in Information Technologies and lives in Frisco, TX. This is his first jump into the oil and gas industry, although he has a brother who serves as the chief accountant of an oil and gas company in Kuwait.

Vijee loves to watch Indian movies, specifically Malayalam (a South Indian language). He also likes listening to Hindi and Punjabi Gospel music, playing cricket, reading books, and traveling. He is well-traveled through Australia and the continental European countries. Vijee is married and has 2 kids. He is excited to be at EWN and loves the friendly work environment.
Mikel joined EWN in 2017 and has transitioned from the Client Success team to the Technology team. Mikel is an avid photographer & videographer and loves to make music when he has time. A few hobbies include cooking, longboarding, building computers and repairing old game consoles. He has a pitbull named Abby “that is made of pure love.” When asked what his favorite thing about working at EWN, “It is a very relaxed environment, and everyone helps each other constantly.”

Mayra has done it all at EWN over the past years, from Sales to Marketing, to Production, to Design and now she serves as the Sr. Vice President of Education & Compliance. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Design & Development, not to mention she is fully trained in pretty much the entire Adobe Creative Suite, and tons of other products that aid in both the design & development of our courses. Mayra is based in Chico but is originally from Jal, NM where her family is active in the Oil & Gas Industry (drilling/production) - making her work at EWN even that more meaningful.

When Mayra has some free time, she works as a free-lance photographer - something she loves dearly. The reason she has little free time? Her 4 uber-talented daughters that do anything/everything from playing guitar, cheerleading, basketball or singing. Mayra is one proud mom. She loves EWN, the environment that we have and the "second" family it has created for our entire team and clients alike.

An Army Veteran, Red served in the Vietnam War and served as a Crew Chief on a Huey Helicopter UH-1D with the 71st Assault Helicopter Company. Our marketing team provides the face to our brand. James spent his past life leading a software company to achieve greatness with 10 years as Chief Information Officer before joining the EWN team. James has a knack for designing & developing marketing material, campaigns & basically anything you want to throw at him. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT world, including design, programming, marketing & managing. His rapid style of design allows EWN to move forward quickly without losing our brand in the process.

A Decatur, TX local, James grew up in West Texas (Permian Basin), so he knows a thing or two about the Oil & Gas industry. James is a dedicated husband & father, and when his wife isn't keeping his plate full with her latest Pinterest find, you can find him playing a round of golf, smoking some ribs or working with his hands in some way, shape or form. Did we mention he is one of several EWN employees who also has chickens? B-Gock!
Baylie has been on the EWN team since 2015 and has moved roles from Marketing Specialist to Event Coordinator. She helps with multiple departments, but her home is the Marketing team. She has an Associate’s in Arts, and before working at EWN was a Correctional Officer for 3 years (so she likes to follow the rules and keeps everyone in line). Born & raised in Boyd, TX, Baylie recently relocated back to Boyd after moving around the Metroplex a bit.

She is married and has 3 kids (all boys) and two dogs that she loves dearly (they were her first babies). Baylie loves to play softball, fish and any other sport or outdoor activity to stay active. She enjoys what she does, and working in an atmosphere that allows her to continually expand her knowledge.
Kaylea Pryor joined EWN in 2013 as a Production Specialist, then moved to the Marketing Department and has now settled into the role of Creative Design Specialist. She lives in Decatur, but as also lived in Europe & Mississippi as well.

Kaylea is recently married, and has a chocolate lab named Hunter. When she gets some time, she loves to bake cakes and go on vacation (who doesn’t). When asked what her favorite part of working at EWN was, she said, “Everyone works as a team and takes care of our customers.”
Scott joined the EWN team in 2018 as the Marketing Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Midwestern State University and a Master of Arts from Criswell College. He has a diverse marketing & business background that includes church administration, non-profit specialization, various management positions and he purchased a failing print business, only to flip it into a successful full-service marketing agency prior to selling and joining EWN.

Scott and his family live near Amon Carter Lake and love the beautiful country there. They can usually be found at their place with feeding 20 or more deer a night off their porch as well as other activities including swimming, hiking, kayaking, or just working the land.

Scott didn’t just apply for a job at EWN. He says he specifically researched companies and knew he wanted to be a part of EWN before this position was ever posted. “This company is not just like a family in how employees are treated, but also in how they conducted business, make decisions, and plan for the future.”
