EWN TOURS ATMOS FACILITY: Members of the ENERGY worldnet team recently toured Atmos Energy’s new training and customer service center in Plano, Texas.  The 48,600 square foot facility houses the dispatch and customer service operations for the North Dallas area and a state of the art training center.  The center offers both classroom training and hands-on technical training using mock-ups of home, apartment and commercial buildings at an outdoor training area known as Gas City.

The center is named in honor of Atmos Energy’s founding chairman, Charles K. Vaughan, who led the company from 1983 to 1997. Vaughan continues to serve on the company’s board of directors as lead director and as chairman of the board’s executive committee.
